Recharge the batteries

Had a nice, calm, do nothing kind of day.   Well, almost nothing.   Did have to drive my daughter to and from work.  Also, hit the grocery store, it had been a while and the cupboards were bare.   Other than that, stayed home, watched TV, took a nap.  Recharged my batteries for the week ahead.  Now, off to bed with a good book!

Any day where you get to spend most of it at home is a winning day for me. Toss in a nap and I good book and it’s a fantastic day! Glad you had time to recharge!

People underestimate the value of “do nothing” kinds of days! Sometimes, we are just as busy on the weekends as we are during the week, trying to catch up with everything we didn’t do during the week. Recharging the batteries are so important! Glad you had the chance to recharge and thanks for sharing!

Sounds like a wonderful day! I, too, took the day off from my usual Saturday routine, and it was glorious. Taking that time to recharge is absolutely necessary.

I love the “do nothing” days. Those days don’t happen often enough.
