2 Firsts on the 1st.

So, today is the 1st of March and I did 2 things for the first time.  #1 is writing this blog.  I have never done anything like this.  Please forgive me if it sounds like I don’t know what I am doing……..because I don’t !   #2, I tried yoga for the first time today.  My friend’s daughter just completed her courses to become a certified yoga instructor.  She was teaching a class (in her father’s office space) this morning and I was invited to participate.  Something else I had no idea what I was doing.  It was fun!  I had to watch the others to try to copy them (I wasn’t even close to their status).  I think I will continue with both of these firsts.  Like they say, practice makes progress.   If I want to get better at either, I have to practice.   By the way, yoga was a lot more painful than blogging!   I am already sore so I can only imagine how I will feel tomorrow.   Good thing we have the day off tomorrow!

Two firsts for one day?! Impressive. I’ve used that word on you twice in the past couple of weeks, haven’t I? Good for you – yoga is hard. I just can’t twist my body like that, ya know? Rest up tomorrow and have fun writing!!!

Lisa, maybe 2015 is going to be a year of change for you! Look at all the firsts! I can’t speak for yoga, but I know you’ll love the blogging. (and you won’t be too sore at the end of March)

Practice makes progress….I think that is the perfect way to think about this challenge- it is a month of practicing and perfecting! Excited to see what the month has in store for you! Welcome to this fun community of writers!

Good for you, TWO new things in one day, and both of them are BIG! Welcome to slicing…you will love it. By the way, I like “practice makes progress” much better than “practice makes perfect!”
